An inclusive church with a progressive liturgical worship style,  First Baptist Church's purpose is to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to be a dynamic spiritual body empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with the world.

In cooperation with the Green River Baptist Association, the NC and National Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Baptist World Alliance, Greater Europe Mission, Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Southern Baptist Convention, opportunities are available for "hands on" mission endeavors such as construction projects as well as channeling financial support to a multitude of mission needs around the world.
